Processing & Dispatch
Every order is prepared and handed to the carrier within 48 hours of payment confirmation. As soon as your parcel leaves the workshop, you receive a tracking link by email.
Carriers & Tracking
We ship with La Poste, Mondial Relay, or Relais Colis. The standard service provides a tracking number and delivery without signature. Should you require a signed-for delivery, contact us beforehand—this option carries a small additional fee.
Shipping Costs
Postage is based on the total weight of the parcel. Handling and packaging are a fixed fee, while the transport portion scales with weight. That makes it sensible to group multiple items in a single order. Please note separate orders cannot be merged after checkout.
For instance, adding a lightweight accessory like the REICH vintage touring bike bell alongside a substantial Routens handmade steel frame in one cart will keep handling costs down compared to two separate shipments.
Packing & Protection
Box dimensions are chosen to match the items, and all goods are securely padded. Extra care is taken with fragile components—no piece leaves us without adequate cushioning.
Shipment Insurance
Every parcel is covered against loss or damage. Should a transit issue occur, you receive a full refund on the order. There is no partial settlement; we stand behind every shipment.
Free Delivery Thresholds
Domestic (relay point): free for orders over €20. This excludes the categories complete bicycles, frames, rims, and wheels due to their size and weight.
International: free above €100, with a limit of one frame or one pair of wheels per €100 of qualifying spend.
Returns
If you change your mind, you may return any item within 14 days of delivery. The return postage is your responsibility in that case. However, if the parcel arrives damaged or the contents do not match the listing, we refund the item in full and cover the return shipping.
